Condren Family Nutrition is a family-owned private practice nutrition clinic located in Little Rock, Arkansas. As a mother-daughter dietitian duo, we’re passionate about improving the health of families of all ages through nutrition counseling.
Lasting change happens when the whole family participates. When families prioritize good nutrition habits, everyone lives longer, everyone feels stronger, and everyone is happier. This creates a positive ripple effect that drastically impacts future generations to come. It’s one reason why we love working with families as well as individuals. From children to seniors and everyone in-between, we’re here to help you start your journey to a healthier lifestyle.
We want you to get the most out of your time with us. That’s why providing a safe place is our top priority. We’ve designed our space to make you feel safe and comfortable during your visit. All of your sessions will take place one-on-one in one of our two private offices.
Take back control of your health and your family’s health. Living longer, stronger, and happier lives starts today.
Agnes Condren, RD, LD
My mother was my model and mentor in life. She practiced internal medicine at the V.A.Hospital in North Little Rock, AR for over 40 years and worked passionately to bring quality and comprehensive care to all her patients. Through a lifestyle of discipline, dedication, and devotion to both her career and family, I learned the value of hard work, body respect, and the importance of good nutrition and consistent exercise as a first-line defense against chronic diseases and long-term illnesses.
I received my B.S. degree in Nutrition from UCA in 1988 and completed my dietetic internship at UAMS in Little Rock in 1989. While working as a registered dietitian (RD), I raised five amazing children to adulthood and am proud to say that they are all healthy, hard-working, and responsible individuals with families of their own. To this date, I have four beautiful grandchildren that I simply adore, spoil, and relish time with when I’m not working.
Over the past 30 years, I have worked in a variety of settings including public health clinics, acute care hospitals and rehabilitation facilities, dialysis clinics, diabetes and endocrinology clinics, and family wellness centers. I have especially enjoyed meeting one-on-one with patients to address their individual nutritional needs and concerns and have counseled hundreds of people who struggle with health issues such as obesity, heart disease, hypertension, kidney failure, cancer, and diabetes. My greatest reward as an RD is seeing my patients progress towards their nutritional goals. Progress, not perfection, leads to big results over time, and it is a joy to see my clients make important strides in becoming healthier and happier.
Courtney Byrum, MS, RD, LD
I originally became interested in nutrition through my mom. Growing up with a dietitian as a mom helped me to understand the importance of balanced nutrition for a healthy lifestyle, as she modeled this so well in her own eating and cooking. I completed my dietetic internship at UAMS in 2014 and finished my Master of Science in nutrition at the University of Central Arkansas in 2015. I have been working as a clinical dietitian at a Little Rock hospital for the past seven years, where I work with patients who have a variety of nutritional needs and medical conditions.
I have especially enjoyed building relationships with patients that I follow during longer hospital stays and encouraging them in their health journeys. This past year, I have decided to take on my dream of owning my own nutrition counseling business with my mother. I cannot wait to meet you and help guide you and your family toward a healthier lifestyle. When I am not working, I enjoy hiking, reading, working out, traveling with friends, and spending time with my husband Daniel and our three kids. Thank you in advance for trusting me with your nutritional goals.
